QuietCarts are unique and proprietary to The MedClean® System. These aluminum-nickel alloy carts are light-weight and quiet—they glide across hospital floors on specially designed wheels that almost eliminate their acoustic impact. They feature piano-hinged lids to shield waste from exposure to hospital personnel, patients and visitors, and they are built to withstand years of high temperatures in the autoclaves.

QuietCarts™|
Every MedClean Technologies installation comes with a proprietary combination lifter/tipper system designed specifically for use with MedClean Technologies QuietCarts™. Each lifter/tipper system includes a dual-drive hydraulic mechanism, and its controls ensure safe, hands-free operation. When a QuietCart is loaded on the tipper the hydraulic lifter raises it to the dumping height, where a second hydraulic unit rotates the QuietCart to the dump position. The sterilized waste falls into the hopper of the MedClean Technologies shredder, or when shredding is not required, directly into a waste compactor.

The AutoTouch is the brain of The MedClean System. Its 15-inch touch screen accesses a sophisticated command protocol that requires minimal operator training. Through a link with the platform scale it measures the weight and number of carts being processed, and regulates autoclave temperature, pressure and cycle time. AutoTouch also controls the autoclave safety-locking mechanism, and it records total waste weight, process time and temperature, unique load ID number, time/date stamp, and operator ID. The MedClean Platform Scale uses the latest in load cell technology. The scale is highly accurate, extremely reliable, and low maintenance. The platform is built of high grade, extended wear steel and it is flush-mounted so the QuietCarts can easily be rolled on and off it.
